Almost every year I go to the Marion Fly-in Breakfast at the airport and each year it has gotten bigger and bigger. This year there were planes, helicopters, cars, firemen setting things on fire, pilots flying people over Marion and yes breakfast. It's free to get in but if you want to eat breakfast or fly in a plane you'll need to bring a little cash.
People there are nice, we went for the short rides & was wonderful experience
This is an excellent Airport close to Walmart and KCID, friendly staff, new FBO, new maintenance hanger, new 24/7 self service pumps avgas and jetA, and free popcorn daily! The airport has a airtour service, a flight school, and maintenance facility. Cats testing center for pilots and UAS pilots.
A nice little airport.
Great airport, super small to the greatest degree. TSA is so polite and quick. Easy in and out and the police walking around are so nice, I saw 1 stop and talk to a kid that looked like he wanted to be a police officer himself.
