Very poor when it comes to offering "Competitive pricing" for used books and movies. The fact that you can bring in 85 books that sell online used for 150-300 dollars depending on the market and they offer you 25 dollars is simply ridiculous. I took not even half the books and sold them online to a website and I got a check for 150.
Half price means they also don't buy for much. I got less than $1/book... But who else are you gonna sell to? Better than giving them away.
Went to buy something yesterday and watch 4 employees as I stood in line to check out stare at me. Only one in line do a little confusing why no one offered to ring me up. I left without my merchandise, will not go back. Aside from that they charge more then retail on movies and games plus they low ball you on stuff there selling for like 50 bucks. I'm sorry $1 is not compared to what your selling it for. Not to mention the employees never offer to help aside from one guy that I hope went to a better company and I think no longer works there.

Friendly staff. Quiet place. Cheap books, anything you could imagine reading. Fun to wander and discover.
To so blatantly disrespect your customers like that, it is a wonder that people purchase anything from them at all. Most of their pricing in store is 15-30% higher than it is at other locations, the staff simply stare at you without any regard to your time. They consistently have one person checking out, while 5-6 of them hang out in another area laughing and joking. Instead of helping the line of customers to help get them out the door.
Went in looking for books by a specific author and after searching through a section I was not able to locate one. Went to the info center and asked if they could do a search by author and she said "yes!". She looked it up and found two books by that author and took me directly to each one. Will definitely go back again and again. They also have an awesome selection of Dr. Who and Star Wars collectibles, among others, that are so fun to look through.
If I could lower their rating to a zero I would, it seems that most people simply go here because there is no where else in town for them to go. I would highly suggest before purchasing from this company to do research on the product you are buying to ensure that you are not getting ripped off.
UPDATE: I've brought in a set of comics got offered $11 cash, I said no thanks. Brought in same comics with a bunch of books got offered $11. Brought in same comics with anime DVDs alot btw, guess what $11. Seems shifty if you ask me.
